Multi-Finger Calipers
Multi-Finger Calipers are used to give accurate dimensional information on tubulars and casings thus determining their condition.Expro’s MFC’s are available to suit a wide range of tubular diameters, and can perform those measurements under extreme conditions. Expro’s electronic calipers deliver high accuracy and resolution and canbe run either in memory mode on slickline, or real time on e-line. Data collected is analysed using MIPS – the state-of-the-art caliper analysis / visualization package. Our mechanical calipersrecord data onto a chromed metal chart. This chart is then processed using Expro’s unique ‘DIGIcal’ digital scanning unit, allowing the same high levels of analysis and data presentation available with ourelectronic calipers.
