Several topics in the documentary : violence in American schools , the use of weapons by civilians and the "Theory of fear." It is shown from the point of view of Moore, how Americans live absorbed in fear and ignorance, caused mainly by the media , and a lot of emphasis on the fact that the only way you find most population is the possession of weapons of all types andyour marketing so natural that anyone can buy them in a supermarket. Also expressed that such idea is inculcated from childhood by parental influence, media , etc. . Moore stresses that American society has the misconception " By having weapons is more responsible " or " If you have no weapons are negligent " or even go to the police just for the fact that it is not armed .
Rock singer MarilynManson gave his point of view , as we have seen in the Columbine slaughter . Manson had to cancel part of her tour of respect for the deceased , as the influence of the media blames his music and even his person, being home sparkle this disaster . En el documental se tratan varios temas: la violencia en las escuelas estadounidenses, el uso de armas por parte de civiles y la "Teoría del miedo". Se muestra, desde el punto de vista de Moore, cómo los ciudadanos estadounidenses viven absortos en el miedo y la ignorancia, causados principalmente por los medios de comunicación, yhace mucho énfasis en el hecho de que la única salida que encuentre la mayoría de la población sea la posesión de armas de todo tipo y que su comercialización sea tan natural que cualquier persona pueda adquirirlas en un supermercado. También expresa que ese tipo de idea es inculcada desde la infancia por influencia paterna, por los medios de comunicación, etc. Moore recalca que la sociedadestadounidense posee el concepto erróneo "Por tener armas se es más responsable" o "Si no tienes armas eres negligente" o hasta de acudir a la policía solo por el hecho de que ésta no está armada.
