UMLStudio/UMLServer License Agreement

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

This agreement (hereafter called 'license' or 'agreement') is a legal agreement between the user of this softwareproduct (hereafter called 'you') and PragSoft Corporation (hereafter called 'PragSoft'). It covers all the components comprising the UMLStudio/UMLServer software products: computer software, onlinedocumentation, associated media (hereafter collectively called 'software product' or 'software'). If you do not agree with the terms of this agreement, please return the unused software product to thesupplier from whom it was obtained immediately for a full refund.

TERMS OF THE LICENSE

This software product is licensed, not sold. Your payment for this product covers the license fee and entitlesyou to a single non-exclusive license. (The freeware version is provided free of charge, and is subject to this same license agreement.) The software is protected by copyright laws and remains theintellectual property of PragSoft at all times.

If you have n licenses for this software (n being equal to or greater than 1), you may:

(i) Install UMLServer on no more than one computer(typically a server). UMLServer may be configured to support up to n floating UMLStudio licenses. Please note that UMLServer may require n to be larger than a predetermined number (e.g., 4) in order to enablethe floating license server.

(ii) Install UMLStudio on up to n computers and configure them to run as stand-alone, or,

(iii) provided you have installed and configured UMLServer to supportfloating licenses, install UMLStudio on any number of computers and configure them (as floating) to point to the UMLServer floating license server.

You may store the software on a network server (ora similar shared storage device) used only to install the software on your other computers, provided the number of licenses you have purchased is equal to or greater than the number of computers on...
