Diary entry Kingshaw

Today was a difficult day. After a hot and dull day I decided to take a look at the cornfield which is in front of Mr. Hooper’s residence since I’ve always been quite curiousabout it. It wasn’t as close as I thought and the sun was brutal which made it more difficult, but I wanted to get as far away as possible. As I left the property I saw Edmund staring at me throughthe window, I could swear, that boy gives me the creeps. As I approached the cornfield I could feel the heat weave burning my skin, and making my face tomato red. There were huge golden wheat stems. Bigfields covering a decent amount of the field. I was very tired so I decided to take a break. I sat down of the wheat field. I could feel the wheat pricking my skin as if they were little needles, butI was so exhausted I didn’t mind.
As time passes I noticed a crow. It wasn’t a normal crow. It was huge. Its obsidian black eyes were fixed on me as if it was stalking its prey, he circled above meand I could feel the tension growing inside me. I wanted to scream at him, to make him go away, but it was as if there was a knot in my throat which trapped my word s before they could reach mytongue. My body was completely under the control of fear, so I did the only thing I could think of, run.
The crow represented everything I could be scared of. Its black wings blocked the suntransforming the place into a dark universe. The sun was on my face but I didn’t feel it this time, I just wanted to escape. I could see the fence, but it was steel so far away. I just wanted to reach the house.Suddenly the crow attacked. It dived into the floor like as if it was a kamikaze bomber. With great accuracy it scratched the back of my leg, making me trip and fall. I was dead afraid, that crow wasnot normal it was evil.
My face was wet but not because of sweat, there were tears of my eyes. Not tears of sadness of because of the scratch, but because of fear and exhaustion to the unknown, my...
