Street Art: Art or Vandalism?
Street Art, since it started in the heart of London was considered a vandalism act but for me it is not. It’s a big, big but big difference between ‘’graffiti’’and street art, as a popular British street artist said: ‘’ what is street art? Street art is only art that can’t be in a museum…’’ and for me that is true! The Street art is something illegal thatmake a place more interesting and beautiful.
Street art is basicly ‘’visual art’’ developed in public spaces Street art is a new movement, this hybrid form of art is driven by new generationusing LED art, mosaic tiling, murals, stencil art, sticker art, "Lock On" sculptures, Street installation, wheat pasting, wood blocking, video projection, and yarn bombing. In the other way graffiti isdriven by a generation with vandalism intentions and to damage other peoples propriety, also ‘’graffiti’’ is considered the biggest counter-cultural movement since punk.
As I have said Street artstarted in the heart of the city of London, the legend says that the first street art piece was from a very old graffiti artist that took the nickname of ‘’TAKI 183’’ with the arrival of the spray paintcans. Since that happened street art quickly arrived to all U.K. (United Kingdom), and then expanding into America.
People thinks that graffiti is the same thing as Street art and probablyfor society it’s true, but for me isn’t the same thing, let me explain myself, Street art is illegal as the graffiti, but the street art could express a political message or to express an ideal ofsomeone not only to damage the ajen property.

In the year of 2009 a short documentary about street art changed people’s mind, kind of brainwashing audience mind to see Street art of another point ofview. Some very interesting and very good street artists such as Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Mr. Brainwash or Space Invader are well known worldwide because of their sympathy, and also because of their...
