Technology Services Product Line Definitions (final revision: October 15, 2010)

Management Objective:
Continue to refine Technology Services product line structure in an effort to enhance business management capabilities when separate, distinct business models exist and to provide greater insight into critical incubation businesses. Alignment changes include adding four new product lines toTS Support and one new product line to TS Consulting, realigning product categories, and clarifying service portfolio content in alignment with the FY’11 TS business charters. In addition, the changes will further enable better management of revenue reporting, profitability, and growth expectations for the consulting and support product categories.

K2-Graphics Services- DesignJet: was a new product line for FY10, but will have a reduced scope in FY11 as services related to Indigo and IHPS product will move to the new PL6B while services related to Scitex products will move to the new PL7B. PLK2 will continue to include annuity reactiveservices on HP Imaging & Printing Group DesignJet products, including HW support, SW support, SupportPlus, SupportPlus 24, and Call to Repair. Also includes time and material HW Support and SW Support calls and per-event deployment, integration, and technical services for DesignJet products.

6B-Graphics Services- Indigo and IHPS: new product line for FY11. Includes annuity reactiveservices for HP Imaging & Printing Group Indigo graphics products and IHPS digital press products, including HW support, SW support, SupportPlus, SupportPlus 24, and Call to Repair. Also includes time and material HW Support and SW Support calls and per-event deployment, integration, and technical services for Indigo and IHPS products.
7B-Graphics Services- Scitex: new product line for FY11.Includes annuity reactive services for HP Imaging & Printing Group Scitex graphics products, including HW support, SW support, SupportPlus, SupportPlus 24, and Call to Repair. Also includes time and material HW Support and SW Support calls and per-event deployment, integration, and technical services for Scitex products.
R4-IPG Commercial Printer Support: includes annuity reactive services for HPImaging & Printing Group commercial products, including HW support, SW support, SupportPlus, SupportPlus 24, and Call to Repair. Also includes time and material HW Support calls on IPG commercial products. Excludes all per-event services, which are booked to PLUW.
4B-End-User Workplace Services: new product line for FY’11. Includes all TS workplace services included in new or existingES-led deals for both HP and multivendor desktop/workplace products, whether billed as annuity, time and material, or per-event services. Workplace services may include managed deployment, IMACD, HW support and SW support, deskside support, hands & eyes, installations, and other services specifically contained within the workplace environment in an ES-led deal.
