RESUMEN

La tesis “APLICACIÓN DE LAS 7 HERRAMIENTAS DE LA CALIDAD A TRAVÉS
DEL CICLO DE MEJORA CONTINUA DE DEMING EN LA SECCIÓN DE
HILANDERÍA EN LA FÁBRICA PASAMANERÍA S.A.”, cuenta con cuatro
capítulos; el primer capítulo presenta una introducción a la fábrica a través de la
descripción de su historia, misión, visión, valores institucionales, organigrama de la
empresa, yun acercamiento a la sección de Hilandería donde se señala su

proceso productivo y mix de productos; el segundo capítulo contiene el marco
teórico correspondiente a las siete herramientas de la calidad y el ciclo de mejora
continua, que constituye la base teórica, que da paso al tercer capítulo donde se
aplican los aspectos teóricos descritos, comenzando con el desarrollo de una
herramienta derecolección de datos, que será la fuente de información del
estudio, que continua con la aplicación del ciclo de mejora continua en el proceso
de Lapeado usando la herramienta histograma, después se procede con la
aplicación de las herramientas restantes en los diferentes procesos de hilatura,
con lo que se crea un sistema de aplicación de las herramientas de calidad que
puede ser usadoconstantemente y apuntando siempre a una continua mejora de
la calidad así como también se fomenta una cultura de análisis de datos a través
de este ciclo de mejora. Finalmente la tesis acaba con un cuarto capítulo donde se
enmarcan las conclusiones obtenidas en el proceso de creación de la tesis y sus
recomendaciones pertinentes.

ABSTRACT

The thesis “SEVEN QUALITY TOOLS APPLICATION THROUGHOUT OF THE
Deming cycle Plan- Do-Check-Act at SPINNING SECTION of

Pasamaneria’s

FACTORY”, has four chapters; in the first one there is a story about the
Pasamaneria’s Factory, its mission, vision and values are also depicted as well as
the organization chart, theproductive process, product mix and an overview of the
spinning section; in the second chapter is depicted the theory framework about the
seven quality tools application; in the third chapter you get the application of the
theory framework, beginning with the development of a picking up data tool which
is the main source for the data analysis, going on the application of the continual
improvement in thelapping process using the charter tool and after is applied the
other tools in the data analysis in other spinning processes, wherewith is created
an application system of quality tools that could be used regularly and pointing out
to both, a continual data analysis and to promote a continual quality improvement.
Finally, the thesis has a forth chapter where are framed both the conclusions andrecommendations that have been gotten throughout the thesis making.
