My First Date
My best friend Javiera introduced me to her friend, Liam, in a swim meet. We talked a lot after he swamand he asked me for my phone number. The next day he called me and we made a date for Saturday!
I was so nervous that I couldn’tsleep on Friday night. When I arrived at the cinema the next day (on time of course), he was already there. He was wearing a plaid shirtand jeans. I told him we had to go get the tickets, but he had already bought them! I offered to pay him back but he didn’t let me…He was so nice. It was like I’ve known him forever! After the movie, I invited him to have an ice cream and we talked a lot. Liamtold me about him and asked me about the things I like. We have so much in common: music, books, movies, and of course, swimming.When we were going back to the parking lot, I skipped a step and fell down! I blushed immediately and he helped me to stand up. Wecouldn’t stop laughing and we still laugh about that. He always tells me: “Watch your step!”
After a very fun night, he drove me home(he is 18 and he has a car!) and asked me for a second date. I thought about the great night I had had and I accepted hisinvitation.
Now I have to go get ready, because my boyfriend, Liam, is going to pick me up in twenty minutes! I don’t want to be late!
