The beginning of the stereotypes in children
The purpose of this paper is that people understand the importance of genres, and how from birth is present the precise tolerance of society to go withcertain stereotypes formed.
In the "Gender Studies", the English author John Bowlby said that "Gender is a fundamental aspect of personal and social identity construction and biological, psychologicaland cultural development of great importance for all people"
Who said men and women are equal? With this question I mean that women have always taken a back seat to men in society. It has alwaysseemed to be a set of rules that apply to men, and another set of rules that apply to women. This is evident in the home, workplace, and throughout society.
This all starts when men and women born inthe hospital then children get blue blankets while girls have pink blankets. While children are growing up, everything is much more evident by parents and teachers, and social influences. Children weretaught to play with cars, and play the super heroes, and animals, blocks, weapons, soldiers while women were taught to play with dolls, make-up and be nice all the time, but most importantly they aretaught to play the mother.
The goal that parents have for each of their children vary between gender role, for example, when children are hurt her parents say things like "nothing happened" or "notreally hurt" this refers they have to prove to be strong and resilient, but when girls get hurt, would be given the attention and get him and take care of it immediately because they are moredelicate. Parents treat each child on completely different. These patterns and thought processes will continue in our adulthood and start playing in our relationships with others, including dating andmarriage.
