1. She was a beautiful young girl, always happy;until the day she fall in love with the painter of her portrait. Then she was always sad, jealous of her husband’s second wife: his work.
2. A man and his servant stay in an old, abandoned house for thenight.
The man, who is badly hurt stays in a curious room with a lot of different paintings and finds a book that tells their stories.
He centers his attention in a portrait of a beautiful younglady, which is so realistic that appears to be alive. While reading the story of this portrait he discovers that the beautiful young lady died under strange circumstances during the process of paintingit.
3. “The living portrait” – I think this would be an appropriate name because, in my opinion the portrait sucked the life of the young lady to get his realistic look, and so she died when it wasfinished.
4.a. The man got hurt, so the servant guided him to an old abandoned house to stay for the night.
