13 Amendment
This was introduced in the constitution, in 1865. This Amendment states that: Slavery is illegal in the United States of America. The people in the south fought this law when thecongress was going to apply.
Other south state people that agreed wanted money from their feed slaves and other thought that if the black people were freed, they would take jobs with poor conditions,like payment and a way of living and people in the North didn’t agree because the black people in the south could take their jobs for less money.
When this Amendment happen some states form the southdidn’t allow this. This was because to take the slaves from white people would cause many problems like:
* The fabric of cotton (the most important agricultural item in the south), which make thepeople who live there very rich.
* The commodities of having a second hand
* The use of slaves from battle.

14 Amendment
The 14 Amendment was introduced in 1868. It states that all thepeople in the United States of America should have every civil right including the African American people.
This wasn’t completed after that dates some black people were trated unfair in the southlike it used to be.
The other civil right that wasn’t granted around those years was that black people weren’t allowed to vote. Some black people were killed trying to get the vote by diplomacy in thesouthern states.
White people were against African American persons the right to vote because they thought that they could gain power.
15 Amendment
The 15 Amendment was introduced in 1870 thisstates that every person in the country has the right to vote, even if they are colored or were a slave in the past.
In the southern states, white people make it hard for blacks to vote like: They hadto pay a tax to this right or have the skills to write and read. This was hard for black people because in their new free lives they had little money and they didn’t know how to read and how to...
