There Will Be Blood

This movie is an outstanding thriller. I enjoyed watching the intensity of every scene. Even though, I thought this typeof movie was not quite my taste, I definitely got involve in the drama since the beginning to ending. I paid really attention to Daniel Day Lewis’s character because he really showed his passionfor oil drilling. Daniel’s character is a real entrepreneur because he portrayed all the skills to be a successful businessman. He was passionate, determinant and unpredictable; however, the badside of this character was his selfishness and ambition. This is what makes this movie a masterpiece.
My favorite scene was when Eli “the priest” was slapping Daniel to get rid of all hissins. It was funny scene because Daniel screams for more and more until he said “ just for the pipeline”. In this scene you can notice Daniel’s dedication and devotion to build his own pipelineno matter what is blocking his way. Another scene that Daniel shows real entrepreneur skills was when he was giving his speech to the community. He stood up as a leader and was able to clearlyconvince most of the people that progress was on the way. Education, housing, business and more were his main ideas and the way he manage to address his ideas to the community was admiring.
Onelesson that I learned from this movie, it’s to be determinant in anything that you do. Daniels’s character showed his determination to do the job and to be the best entrepreneur in his field.This one of the reason he became so rich. Unfortunately, he got carry away by ambition and power obtained. In essence, it is good to be determinant and passionate for what you do. However, if youget to a point where you have power and wealth, you should never forget that life is not only money. There are other matters important in life such as family, friend and values as well.
