This is war

"Current estimates indicate that we will not have enough water to feed ourselves in 25 years time, by when the current food crisis may turn into a perpetual crisis." quote from IWMIdirector general Colin Chartres. In our future, the world will suffer a global crisis due to lack of food, water and natural resources. Throughout human history, wars and countless social conflictshave arisen from populations who were facing the shortage of these resources. Nowadays people do not take care about over consuming food, water and energy. They have not thought that finally theseresources will end sooner or later as well as our lives will come to an end. So I wonder; Is this a signal? Will we ended up fighting for food, water, gas, energy, oil… and so on?

Every time we go tothe supermarket there is plenty of food, everywhere we can get something to eat but that food will not last forever and I can tell you why. Population is growing and as a result more people will needto be feed. It is expecting that global demand for food will extremely increase more than double in a near future but we do not have the resources in the actual system to supply that huge demanding offood. Moreover, The World Bank has projected that demand for food will rise by 50% by 2030, and for meat by 85% by the same year. Food prices will rise by 100% which directly affects our economicalsituation. As a consequence this situation will create a conflict between countries due to the demanding of that basic resource we all need to survive. Human beings not only need food to survive we needwater and other kind of commodities.
