HOW
TO MAKE A

SHAWL.

Starting from the Cape garment mold, choose the view "Rear view". Then using acurved line draw the desired cut lines, and use the "Delete Element" option to remove the unnecessary parts of the garment mold.

Now choose the "Frontal View" and select the "Front Only" option. Draw two curves and cut the garment mold in such a way that the result is two triangular pieces. Now select the channel "Transparency" and paint the chosen material, heavyweight knit, in white to get itmore closely-woven.

Select the "Snap to cut lines" option to color the edges of the shawl in fuchsia. To create the fringes again choose the channel "Transparency". Select the color black, and draw a thinner line on the fuchsia edge. You'll see that the bottom part of the shawl will become completely transparent. As the last step, disable the option "Snap to cut lines" and draw the fringes inwhite using the desired brush size.

STRAPPED

To create shoes, it's better to make the cuts while in the left or right side view, this way you will cut both shoes at the same time symmetrically. This will save you a lot of time and work, optimizing the final result. To begin, create and cut a curve cut line to make the strap of thesandal. Then, select the whole cut line and when all the points are red drag it to create two more cuts.

Now choose "Frontal View" and "Line" to create a cut line in a rectangular shape in the middle of the foot. Select the option "Symmetry" to create the same cut on the other foot. Then create a curve cut line, making sure that this cut line cuts on the lines that make up the strap of the sandal.Cut and select "Symmetry" again. By selecting and dragging the cut lines, and using "Symmetry", you can create other cuts until you get the desired design.

Don't forget that you can edit the curves point by point, using your mouse. Once you have created all the cuts, discard all the parts you don't need and assign a fabric you have previously created in "Material Editor". Whenever you createshoes you must apply the maximum reinforce (this means white), to make sure they don't move in case you carry out a draping simulation of the design.

HOW
TO CREATE A

CHECKERED

PATTERN.

As easy as selecting any pattern included in the "Tiled Pattern" library and applying it to the fabric selected. The trick is choosing the smallest brush size.

EMBROIDERED

You'll only get this effect choosing a fabric that "accepts" transparency (these are Fine Silk, Gauze, Linen, Lining, Organza and Silk). In this case, we have chosen black gauze, which we previously created in the "Material Editor" module. In the "Color" section, select the channel "Transparency" and then choose one of thepatterns included in the "Tiled Pattern" library and apply it to the fabric.

In this case you must make all the cuts with the model to a profile view. Begin by creating the base of the sandal drawing a curve cut line (or two if it's easier for you) and cut it. To make up the interlaced straps, draw acurve line in shape of a sideways V and cut it.

To make the rest of the straps, select the curve and when all its points are red, move it and cut. Repeat this step to complete all the strips, bearing in mind that every curve must overlap slightly with the other, to get the interlaced effect.

Finally, finish the sandal off with a curve cut and delete all the garment mold parts you don't...
