Thomas Hobbes was an English philosopher who was born on 5 April of 1588 and died on 4 December of 1679. Hobbes was a man known for his interest in political philosophy. During his time, he wasaccused of atheism, since their two big enemies were the church of his country and the University of Oxford.

On the one hand, it is important to highlight his work more known, it is Leviathan. In thiswork Hobbes talks about human nature and how society is organized. The English philosopher made a profound study of man himself however, this study is the origin of his explication of law and differenttypes of government that are essential to living together in society.
He thinks that the state of nature prior to social organization is the'' war of all against all'' and says that life in thestate of nature is solitary, poor, brutal and short.
Really, in his most famous treatise the most important is the transformation of the doctrine of natural law to state based on the right how socialcontract.
On the other hand, it is important to know after reading his work that Hobees renounced to the separation of powers, since according to Hobbes, society is a population beneath asovereign authority, to whom all individuals in that society cede some rights for the sake of protection. Any abuses of power by this authority are to be accepted as the price of peace. Therefore there is nodoctrine of separation of powers in Hobbes's discussion. According to Hobbes, the sovereign must control civil, military, judicial, and ecclesiastical powers.

To finish I will leave clear myopinion about Thomas Hobbes and his work.
My attention has been focused in the first part of his work called ‘’the man’’ moreover I am interested on his opinion about the power of the man , which,according to Hobbes and I share his opinion, appears in his ability to act and the acquisition of power becomes a permanent search and dominated by the passion.
