Se utiliza para hacer referencia a acciones finalizadas del pasado (yo solía).
Uso de used to en frases afirmativas,negativase interrogativas.
Afirmativas:
I used to play basketball when I was a teen.
Solía jugar al baloncesto cuando era adolecente.
Negativa:
She did not use to drink when she was at university.
Ellano solia beber cuando estaba en la universidad.
Interrogativa:
Did you use to play the piano.
¿Solías tocar el piano?.El verbo To have se utiliza como el español haber para formar los tiemposcompuestos. También puede significar tener otomar.
