ADVERBIOS IN ENGLISH

ADBERVIOS DE MODO:
Utilizamos estos adverbios cuando queremos expresar la manera en que se realiza una acción. En general se formanagregando "ly" al final del adjetivo.
La mayoría terminan en 'ly' que equivale a la terminación 'mente' n castellano. Generalmente derivan de adjetivos

slowly  - lentamente
easy  - fácil
easily  - fácilmente
careful  - cuidadoso
carefully - cuidadosamente
simple  - simple
simply - simplemente
happy  - feliz
happily  -felizmente
natural  - natural
naturally - naturalmente

También hay excepciones a esta regla:

EJEMPLO:
They work very hard to save money.
Ellos trabajan muy duro para ahorrar dinero.
They drive fast when they go in that car.
Ellos manejan rápido cuando van en ese auto.

John and Susan decided to live together.
John y Susan decidieron vivirjuntos.

ADBERVIOS DE LUGAR:
Los adverbios de lugar nos permiten indicar dónde se realiza una acción: here, there, above, everywhere, away.
here - aquí
there  allá
near -cerca
nearby -cerca
far - lejos
away – lejos

indoors - adentro, bajo techo
outdoors - al aire libre
above - arriba, encima
below - abajo, debajo
underneath - debajo, abajo, por debajo
beneath - debajo, abajo, pordebajo

ahead  -adelante
behind - atrás, detrás
in front - en frente
opposite - en frente
around - alrededor, por aquí
beyond - más allá

aside - a un lado, aparte
sideways - hacia un lado, de lado
back - detrás, en la parte trasera, hacia atrás
over - encima
all over - por todas partes
over here - por aquí
over there - por allí
right here - justo aquí
right there - justo allí
uphere - aquí arriba
down there  - allí abajo
up - arriba, encima, en lo alto
down - abajo, hacia abajo

EJEMPLOS:
The climber walked up the mountain and reached the summit.
El alpinista subió caminando la montaña y alcanzó la cumbre.

I saw a man on a horse and a dog running behind.
Vi a un hombre sobre un caballo y un perro corriendo detrás

The dog hid its bone beneath a pile of leaves.El perro escondió su hueso bajo un montón de hojas.


ADBERVIOS DE TIEMPO
Cuando queremos expresar en qué momento se realiza una acción, utilizamos los adverbios de tiempo: now, early, late, soon, already, tomorrow.
early - temprano
late  - tarde
earlier  - antes, más temprano
later  - luego, más tarde
then  - luego, entonces
before  - antes
after  - después
afterwards  – luegonow (náu) - ahora
nowadays (náuedéis) - hoydía
these days (díis déis) - en estos días
currently (kérrently) - actualmente
at present (at présent) - en el presente
today (tchudéi) - hoy
tomorrow (tchumórou) - mañana
yesterday (iésterdei) – ayer
still (stil) - todavía
already (olrédi) - ya
yet (iét) - ya, aún
not yet (nót iét) - no aún
no longer (nóu lónguer) - ya no
not any more (nót enimóor) - ya no
just (dchást) - justo, recién

EJEMPLOS:
Daniel usually wakes up early every morning.
Daniel por lo general se despierta temprano cada mañana.
Joe and Pam arrived late last night.
Joe y Pam llegaron tarde anoche.
Vivian is currently learning to dance tango.
Vivian está actualmente aprendiendo a bailar tango.
