Trinity Tailandia

First of all I would like to start by telling you why I have chosen this topic.
This Easter, as usual, I made a trip with my family and some friends. This year’s destination was Thailand!
We leftBarcelona by plane and it took us about 15 hours to get there. The first 3 days we visited Bangkok, which is the capital city, then we went sightseeing to the north and finally we enjoyed some of thebest beaches of Asia in Phi Phi Island. (?)
Through this trip, I realised that many things shocked me.
Let’s start with the big metropolis. It is a really nice city and the Buddhist temples, whichcan be seen, mostly know it. However, it is not a very safe city and especially at night it can be dangerous. To start with, I think prostitution is an enormous problem in this country that ought tosolve. In many districts prostitutes are everywhere, looking for tourists ready to pay for their services. Young girls up to 14 can also be prostituting themselves and even some restaurants are known tobe offering these serving to their costumers.
Another thing I was impressed with are the night markets where fake goods are everywhere. There’s a wide range of products such as watches, sunglasses,bags and all type of clothes. The thing I don’t understand is why brands allow this to happen or why they don’t do anything to stop it. (?).
The third point that shocked me, are the tribes I saw inthe mountains. There is much different type of small villages and each of them has its own Language, religion and traditions. A common and maybe the most known tribe are the longneck villages. All girlsthat belong the tribe wear a big metal neckless made of heavy rings. It was used as a protection for tiger’s bites many years ago, now they just wear it because tourists may give them some money. Sothey see it just as one-way to overcome poverty, not because of a tradition as many people think.
