The music appeared in the churches , the first styles of music where the religious music and the church music.
• In the Renaissance music of U.K. the most important composer was WilliamByrd, and also John Dowload .
• In the Baroque music the opera appeared and the most importany composer was Gearge Handel.
• The folk music appeared in the 19th century .U.K. is dividedinto 4 different countries so each country has its own type of folk music.
• In the 20th century the modern music became very famous.Specially with the english group called “The Beatles”ANTHEM
• It is called “God save the Queen”.
• It was writen by Jean Baptiste Lully.
• Then, it was changed a little bit by Haendel.
• It ´s the anthem of the country and alsofor the Royal Family.
• First, it was called “God save the King”, but then, when the Queen came to power it changed the name to “God save the Queen”.
