Tomás Moro vivió en la época conocida por la historia como “EdadMedia”, que se extendió desde el siglo V D.C. hasta el XV D.C., sin embargo, esta época también es llamada como la “Edad Oscura”, por los grandes horrores que ocurrieron durante esos 1000 años de historia.
Moro alcanzó, como máximo cargo, ser nombrado Lord Canciller del rey Inglés Enrique VIII. En 1515, Moro fue enviado con una embajada comercial a Flandes, donde se presume escribe el libroUtopía, publicado en 1516.
