COMPETITIVIDAD DE COLOMBIA
• SIGLOS XIX Y XX TRAJERON UN AUMENTO EN LA RIQUEZA Y UNA MEJORA EN LOS NIVELES DE VIDA SIN PRECEDENTES. • NO TODOS HAN TENIDO EXITO: HAY UNOS POCOS QUE CRECEN RAPIDO PORMUCHO TIEMPO, CERRANDO LA BRECHA CON LOS RICOS, SON MAS LOS QUE CRECEN EN FORMA ESPORADICA SIN REDUCCIONES SIGNIFICATIVAS EN LAS BRECHAS Y OTROS QUE NO PROGRESAN O INCLUSO RETROCEDEN. • AMERICA LATINA HA PROGRESADO, PERO A UN RITMO INSUFICIENTE, PERDIENDO TERRENO EN TERMINOS RELATIVOS. • TODOS LOS PAISES ANDINOS MUESTRAN UN RETROCESO RESPECTO DE LA POSICION RELATIVA QUE HABIAN LOGRADO A MEDIADOS DELSIGLO XX. VENEZUELA ES EL CASO MAS DRAMATICO DE PERDIDAS RELATIVAS.
