VERBO TO-BE

El verbo "to be" en inglés se refiere a los verbos "ser" y "estar" en castellano. Sirve para dar información sobre el sujeto.
Simple Present del verbo "To-Be"
Yo soy/estoy I am
Tueres/estás You are
El/ella es/está He/she/it is
Nosotros somos/estamos We are
Vosotros sois/estáis You are
Ellos/ellas son/están They are

Se utilizan contracciones:
I am I'm
You/we/theyare You/we/they're

PRESENTE PROGRESIVO

EL presente progresivo se puede utilizar para describir lo que está sucediendo ahora, o lo que sucederáen el futuro.

Ejemplo:
Afirmative Form Negative Form Question
1. I am playing soccer in the park.
I am not playing soccer in the park.
Am I playing soccer in the park?

2. I am eatinghamburger every day in my house.
I am not eating hamburger every day in my house.
Am I eating hamburger every day in my house?

3. I am studying English in this school right now

PRESENTE SIMPLE

Conjugaciones:
a) En presente simple se debe agregar una "s" al final del verbo de latercera persona. Al resto, no se le agrega nada.
b) Si el verbo termina en "y" y enseguida esta una consonante se cambia ésta por una "i" y se le agrega la "es" en la tercera persona.
c) En cambio,si el verbo termina en O, CH, SH y X, no se cambian estas terminaciones y se le agrega la terminación -es en la tercera persona.
d) La conjugación negativa se hace con el verbo "to do" en negativomás el verbo. Se coloca don't (do not) después del sujeto y antes del verbo en todas las conjugaciones, excepto con la de la tercera persona, cuyo auxiliar es doesn't (does not).
