Verbos Seguidos De Alguna Preposicion
Con verbo de movimientocomo : go, come and walk se utiliza la preposición TO
CORRECTO | INCORRECTO |
I like going to the disco | I like going at the disco |
We go to class every day | We go ---class everyday |
Excepciones : Hay expresiones con el verbo to go que NO llevan la preposición TO como to go home.
CORRECTO | INCORRECTO |
I go homeafter class | I go to home after class |
CORRECTO | INCORRECTO |
My girlfriend arrived at the restaurant late | Mygirlfriend arrived to the restaurant late |
Los verbos estáticos como :be,stay, live, meet , wait llevan las preposiciones IN y AT
CORRECTO | INCORRECTO |
I waited at the bus stop | I waited in the bus stop |
My father met my brother at the station | My fathermet my brothe in the station |
The children are at school | The children are in the school |
CORRECTO | INCORRECTO |
I´m busy, I´m at work | I´m busy , I´m in the work |
My brother studies atuniversity | My brother studies in the university |
Se da bastante confusión entre las preposiciones IN (dentro de) y ON (encima de ) .
CORRECTO | INCORRECTO |
