INTRODUCCION
En el presente trabajo se estudia una parte importante de la metalografía que es el tamaño del grano. Para poder hablar de tamaño de granoprimero se debe conocer que son los granos. Los granos son porciones del material que se forman al final del proceso de elaboración de cristales. Esto ocurre cuando todos los átomos se han pegado a algún núcleo cercano y el material es completamente sólido. Cada núcleo formó un cristal dentro del material, estos cristales no coinciden entre si porque no fueron formados bajo ningún orden o esquema;al no coincidir no se pueden unir en un solo cristal. A cada una de esos cristales se les llama granos.
