Writing Task

This event occurred at my workplace and unfortunately everybody found out about it.
It all started at home, I was getting ready to go towork so I would put on my clothes and my comfortable sandals. However when I realized I was falling behind I took my uniform and shoes andwent downstairs. I tried to fit all my stuff in my little bag and then rushed into my dad’s car. After he left me there I quickly ran intothe dressing room to change my clothes. Once I had put on my pants, shirts and socks I was ready to get into my shoes. It was weird, but asmuch as I searched and searched for them I could not find my left shoe! I started to freak out and feel silly as well, how could I haveforgotten it? I was thinking to myself. But yes, I had definitely left it in my house. The girls who were with me there asked me what was happeningand started to laugh at me when I told them.
Feeling absolutely ridiculous and with only socks on my feet I got out of the room in searchof someone who could reach me the phone to call my parents, and ask them to bring me what I needed. Of course I had to wait, sittingimpatient on the bathroom and explaining why I wasn’t working yet to every girl who would get in. Finally after what I felt was an eternity but inreal terms was about 30 minutes, a co-worker meets me with a bag containing that lonely and forgotten shoe for which I had suffered so much.
