Procedure
Wash and thoroughly dry a 150 mL beaker and an evaporating dish.
Beaker+Salt mas=116g Dish=48.47 Filter paper=1.15g Sand=117.35g
We find themass of the beaker, the dish ,and a piece of dry filter paper to the nearest 0.01g.(record1-30)
Place a beaker 1-2g of a mixture of salt and sand in the 150mLbeaker.
We find a the mass of the beaker and its contents to the nearest 0.01(record:4)
