Yo Soy 132
Throughout history there have been international movements claiming any injustice committed in their country, yet few have made somemajor changes without doubt their credibility as an independent movement.
The ideal for the movement in any country is that if they do the right things and at the same time theyfight for their cause, then they could achieve something important such as been a nongovernmental organization.
The 132 movement is a group of young students of voting age thatemerged after the conference of then candidate Enrique Peña Nieto at the Universidad Iberoamericana, following the release of a video with 131 students with credentials from theUniversity stating not been a “porro”.
When this movement began, it was a very good idea, because they defended democracy in our country, the transparency and equality in the mediaand the most important they opposed the imposition of our new president.
The problem was that after the group began to contradict, but they claimed to be nonpartisan declaredagainst Enrique Peña Nieto, supporters of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador and forgot about the other candidates. This made the movement lost credibility and there were rumors that behindthem was an authority telling them how to act.
Therefore, the movement lacks organization; they have to declare who they are, who is the head of the group and what are thethings they support. They have to do something more concrete, be a truly non-partisan movement that earns his credibility again; they should have a plan for our country's problems. This is what the country and the movement needs, a viewpoint neutral and objective so they can defend the cause for which they fight. With all this, the movement may be an NGO.
