You Love Alone Won't Save The World
-"My? What?"- she turned around, scared.
-"I am very sorry, it wasn't my intention to frighten you. I am very, very sorry indeed"
-"What...? What do you want?"-she couldn't help it;a smile came across her face as soon as she saw who she was talking to.
-"Your name would be a good start, if you don't mind"- he smirked. He had the kind of face that screams "Stay away from me" and "Love me forever" at the same time. He was just gorgeous.
-"I... erh... I am Kate. Katie. You are...?"
-"Eric, my name is Eric"- he got closer to the girl and stared right into her eyes, makingher shake.
-"Uhmm"- was all she could manage to get out of her lips. She was so lost into Eric's eyes; they were that kind of blue that looks more like greyish. Cold, deep, beautiful and absolutely indifferent.
-"See you around"- and he left her.
Kate moved back to her table and sat, but she wasn't really there. Her mind was lost somewhere far along the way. Eric sat in front of her, at histable, with his parents - or so Kate thought - and stared at her, again. She could hear her heart beating faster than ever. She panicked; maybe someone else could hear it too. Her hands were trembling, she was trembling. It felt as if her body wouldn't respond to her anymore. It was all Eric's.
-"Kate, Katie... Kate"-her father asked for the third time.
-"Ehm... yes?"
-"We're leaving, youcoming?"
-"What? Already? Isn't it too early?"
-"No. We've been here for hours now. Are you coming or not?"
-"Yeah... sure"
She stood up and walked with them. She didn't have the guts to shoot a last glare at Eric, she was too afraid or too nervous. Or both. The air was quite cold outside. The wind played with her dark red hair and curled it around her neck. She shut her green eyes for a second andbreathed, trying to relax a little. It was easier now that she wasn't in front of breath-taking-utterly-stunning-boy Eric.
She decided she fancied a walk, so she told her parents she was going out with her friends and walked in the opposite direction.
-"What are you doing out here all alone?"- she froze.
-"Blaise"- she greeted.
-"What? Don't tell me you're waiting for someone 'cause Iwon't believe ya baby. We know your people don't come here"
-"You know nothing about me or my people. Shut the fuck up"
-"Oh, how rude was that. Don't like you talking dirty... if I'm not shaggin' you"
-"Never have, never will"
-"Oh but I have"
-"That doesn't count, whatever you say"
-"You sure never will?"- he got closer to her and she freaked out. She knew Blaise was way stronger than she wasand she was all alone, as he had already noticed.
-"Never, ever, no matter what"- she almost spat at his face.
-"You really hate me don't ya?"
-"Then why won't you let her go?"- her heart started beating faster than usual again. Blaise's hand squeezed her wrist in shock and Eric walked towards them.
-"Who are ya brunette?"
-"I'm her date, have a problem?"- he walked until he was next toher and slapped Blaise's hand so that he would release the girl.
-"Since when do you date, you whore?"
-"Ever since it's not you asking me out"- she replied.
-"Now, if you'll excuse us, we are leaving"- Eric pulled her towards him and walked, forcing her to do the same. He drove her away from where Blaise stood and whispered in her ear... "You owe me for that K. I'm taking you for drinks,...
