Your house on fire and your family and pets are all safely outside, and you have time to go back in and save one thing. what would you save and why?

If my house were on fire and my family and pets are outside and I had the opportunity to save only one thing I would chose my diary. In this journal of mine, I write all the things I do every day,including important events and things I don’t want to forget. I consider my diary to be essential because it contains every memory I value the most. In the future if I need to recall something I canlook it up in my diary that which I never forget to take with me wherever I go. If I go on a trip with my family or friends, I am always writing in it. When I need to get something off my head, I writeit, which makes me feel better for taking it out of my system. My diary is also my friend and confidant because it feels like it listens and understands my problems. I don’t let anybody read or evensee my diary because it contains much personal information. My diary is a place were I treasure all my experiences and keep my deepest secrets. Diaries once lay a role in many aspects of humancivilization, including government records, business reports and military records. A diary provides dated information and may be considered and autobiography, memoir or biography. There are different kindsof journals like for example, a travel journal, diet journal, sleep diaries and fictional diaries. Many psychologists encourage the use of a journal as a way not only to express feelings, but also torelieve repressed anger. For some people, a diary is a form of therapy that may help the individual to get through a crisis. People who undergo a life-changing experience such as the death of a lovedone or a divorce are sometimes urged by counselors to utilize a diary as a means of allowing bottled up emotions to have some type of exit. For me a diary could is a healing process and the emptypages are my confidants.
