This movie its about a German professor who tries to teach to his students that the dictatorship in his country, in our times, may be coming back.
Begin herclass as if it were a game, her students do everything he says, and they take it as a game. Gradually his mentality is changing, they become more aggressive and authoritarian, think those outside theirgroup are lower, the unit, the "partnership" and makes them swell and everything starts to get worse.
 
One of his students begin to see in "The Wave" family, his life, and is obsessed with teachingthat week end but not expand as a new ideology overwhelming. To form the days pass, some students realize they have completely changed and that such thinking is harmful to them, people have becomeviolent, possessive, authoritarian .... and try to stop it ... but no one listens .. This film, in my opinion, we have tried to show that nothing is impossible, however absurd it may seem, that a person canchange the world, and we are easy to mold people. A remarkable fact is greed and insight that can have people to achieve their goals, but if our society doesn’t evolve in their thinking, in the waythey go with the first person who tries it, what will of our world?
