Abstract. Environmental problems are as old as man himself, the extent towhich they are presented in our time is different. The current environmental problems being experienced by our planet is derived from a series of disturbances resulting from human activities from very early times, dating from the time of Plato, but it is up to the sixties when concern for the environment grows especially in highly industrialized countries of Europe and North America, due to theaccumulation of waste produced by industrial activities, ie, water pollution, air and soil. an increase in the death of people related to pollution, the man realized that the environmental situation was alarming at one point and that something must be done to prevent further disasters resulting from environmental disturbances caused by him. International meetings were organized primarily as a matterof political science and later, to guide the actions of the various governments on environmental and socio-economic development, because not only was in danger the quality of life but life itself on our planet a possible solutions that we encourage a culture is between the next generation for the care of our planet If we direct at home and at school, young people learn to live so that exploittheir environment without harm. That is, if you learn the values of prevention and to enjoy the natural resources, so that their quality of life and all human beings better, know how to help maintain a healthy, beautiful and beneficial for all, environmental education has faced this challenge in different ways over these last decades, at present, promote citizen participation in both local andglobal framework for sound management of resources and the ongoing construction of attitudes that will benefit Nature; impact on ways of thinking and preparing, both individuals and social groups, for "knowing how to be" and "know how" that is, build knowledge about human-nature relations, and to take environmental values that have as a company horizons ecologically balanced and sustainable mannerfor the solution of problems
I. Introducción
Para el mantenimiento de la vida, así como para asegurar el desarrollo de la sociedad, la ciencia y la técnica, se requiere disponer de un gran número de recursos, los cuales pueden dividirse en dos grupos: renovables y no renovables.
Entre los primeros se cuentan el suelo, las plantas, los animales, el agua y el aire. Como recursos norenovables, pueden señalarse principalmente los combustibles y los minerales. La protección de todos estos recursos resulta de la mayor importancia para el desarrollo de la sociedad. Pero la actuación del hombre ha puesto en peligro los recursos renovables, y ha ocasionado que comiencen a agotarse los no renovables, aunque la atmósfera, las aguas y los suelos parecen tan vastos que resulta difícil creer queel comportamiento de los seres humanos pueda llegar a afectarlos.
Sin embargo, la población aumenta constantemente; cada vez hay más edificios, más vehículos, más industrias, más polvo, más desperdicios, más ruido y, en peligroso contrasté para la supervivencia del hombre a largo plazo, cada vez hay menos campos, menos árboles, menos animales; cada vez es más difícil encontrar el aguanecesaria, alimentos frescos, combustibles y minerales.
El interés por la protección del medio ambiente está centrado en la salud y el bienestar del hombre, el cual es el agente causante fundamental de la continua degradación del medio y, al mismo tiempo, la víctima principal.
