As communications become ever more instant and accessible, how is the role of the journalist being affected? Do journalist still write the his “first draft of story”?
To understand the concept of first draft of story we have to refer Phil Graham to introduce us at the beginig of this essue:
In April 1963, Graham delivered a speech to the overseas correspondents of Newsweek in London:"So let ustoday drudge on about our inescapably impossible task of providing every week a first rough draft of history that will never really be completed about a world we can never really understand” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Graham)
Journalism is the first draft of history. “Magazine and newspaper journalists played a crucial role in publicising national history before there were professionalhistorians,” Betty Winfield (www.thaindian.com)
How Paul Preston British historian and Hispanis argue in his interview for the historians website “ I have always argued that historians and journalists are in the same guild. You are the first trench. Good journalism is the first draft of history. If a historian 25 years from now wants to tell the post-transition, since 1982, would have to use thepress as the first source” (http://historiantes.blogspot.co.uk)
We know that the internet is mainly to educate, inform, entertain and marketing.
Thanks to advances in communications today is possible to witness, in real time, wars, sports and cultural events, and all kinds of events happening anywhere in the world.
Millions of people living in widely separated places can maintain such aconversation in real time with time zones. The access that today we have the information, via the Internet or other computer networks, makes it possible to quickly obtain information from any field of science or culture that, until a few years ago would have been impossible to imagine, but today is an essential and very common. Almost everyone now has a mobile phone with internet access instantly.
“Theuse of news and journalistic information on the Internet is still modest, although
much higher among the young, but it raises the question – after the hype – how relevant the network is as a vehicle for journalism and public communication “ (Jo Bardoel 2001)

It is true that we can find information on many social networks; the agenda is the use of blog and twitter in which we are informed ofnews almost instantly, and with absolute speed.
But the media such as print, radio or TV show to the citizen reliability and credibility, which is what broadcast journalists in the production of information, something that social networks fail.

As Bullón Piedad said (1999) in the online media that have no links with the mainstream press, anyone can proclaim and disseminate a news journalist, false or true, without any accuracy or quality filters. And without going to this extreme, a fragmented story, out of context, can be irresponsible.
The high activity and therefore the freedom of the internet users today leads to information professionals, journalists, journalism students and lovers information to question whether they have little in the Information Age, as there are many theoriesthat argue that once the journalists completely unnecessary.
We can see how the information is transmitted by any person, the events are counted and shown both images and video for anyone with a digital camera and an internet connection, or just a new generation mobile phone, and this in the eyes the world can be more reliable than other current media.
In many cases, the lack of news or simplyby the genre of the program or the media that tries to haunt, are generated news from social networks such as twitter.
There are many ways that today are echoing this mode of information, and many are the cases that occur in "tweets" made by public figures, celebrities or renowned news have become afterwards.

This work found a very good example about this new modality. In March of the last...
