Basque Country
In the month of August I stayed in with my family in a very beautiful four stars hotel in Pamplona; it was such an old hotel from the outside, more or less 40 years of old. Butfrom inside it was very impressive.
The hotel offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we only had had lunch one day at the hotel, the other days we had lunch outside, and every day we had had dinner athotel. There’s been also a swimming pool, but more days we went to the beach.
Another positive aspect of the hotel is that isn’t much expensive, and the service is quiet good, and the breakfast weate and the dinner was very delicious.
In the Basque Country we visited many places, but I liked the most the San Mamés, I couldn’t visit the new stadium, but I liked the old.
In conclusion, Ienjoyed a lot the holidays and I have a lot of fun.
Diabetis de tipus 1 o juvenil
a) Què és la insulina? I la insulina recombinant?
Es l'hormona produïda pel pàncrees , que se encarrega de regularitzarla quantitat de glucosa en sang.
La insulina recombinant és insulina produïda per l'esser humà, per bacteris que han estat genèticament modificats.
b) La diabetis de tipus 1 és una malaltiagenètica?
Pot tenir un origen genètic (s'hereta la predisposició a patir-la) o autoimmune, quan el propi cos ataca les cèl•lules del pàncrees.
c) Què vol dir que la diabetis de tipus 1 es multigènica iautoimmune?
Autoimmune vol dir que el sistema immunitari no ha reconegut com a pròpies les cèl•lules beta del pàncrees i les destrueix, com si fossin microorganismes infecciosos. És multigènica perquète una forta predisposició genètica.
d) Què són les cèl•lules B del pàncrees?
Són cèl•lules que sintetitzen i segreguen la insulina, què controla els nivells de glucosa en sang.
e) En un futur, compodrien contribuir a la curació de la diabetis de tipus 1 les tècniques de clonatge cel•lular?
Es podria curar amb la inserció de cèl•lules mare que regenerarien les cèl•lules beta del pàncrees...
