Leatherback Turtle:
Leatherback turtles (Dermochelys coriacea), is in the family ofDermochelyidae, and they are from the amphibian family. In the sea, they get to mat and after the mating at the sea they go to the beach to nest. The turtle digs a hole in the sand, and lays around 80 eggs, and then distributes the area with the sand to make it difficult to predators to find them, and at last they return to the sea again.When the turtle makes the hole some eggs are deeper than others so when the sun hits the sand the eggs that are in the bottom are warmer and will have females and the ones that are on top will be cooler and will become males. When the female goes to the beach and lead the eggs, they go to the same beach where they were born. Then eggs need approximately 60 days to born.
