Why didMagua and the French soldiers leave the old fots without looking for Hawkeye and the others?
Because they respect the dead who lie there.
What was happening at Fort William Henry when the group arrived?
There was chaos inside the fort. Some people were trying to help soldiers who were hurt others were hurt others were carryinf buckets of sand and water to extinguish fires caused by the Frenchcannons.
Duncan wanted something from Colonel Munro. What was it?
He was saying that he wanted with his young daughter, Alice.
Why were Cora and Alice so different physically?
Because they were of different mothers.
Why did Colonel Munro decide to surrender the fort?
