CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate change is one of the major challenges for humanity in the coming
years. Rising temperatures, melting glaciers, increasingly frequentdroughts and floods are all evidence that climate change is already started.
The stakes are huge for the planet and future generations.
Colombia is particularly vulnerable to climate change, the location ofthe
population in coastal floodplains and unstable soils in the upper parts of
the mountain ranges, and have a high frequency and magnitude of
disasters associated with climate
A new report onclimate change examines the devastating effects they have
on Africa, Asia and poor communities in coastal areas, increased by 2 ° C
