Nowadays the world is facing a big crisis and it’s on the verge of devastating. The scientists profiling is that if we don't do something to stop it, our offspring won’tenjoy the world like we know it; and a new dark age will start very soon.
The principal cause for climate changing is the human activity. It has begun to destabilize everything in ourplanet. But it isn’t the unique reason; between the human activity and the increment of levels of the gases that greenhouse produces, appears Global Warming.
Normally the planet emits somegases (carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide) that permit it to be warm (greenhouse) but when the level of the gases increases, the problem begins.
These changes in the climatehave produced some staggering variations in our planet such as terrible heat waves in the summer and intense storms striking in places like the USA and Europe; and intense cold waves inthe winter in the south of the planet.
The most important consequence of climate change is the detachment of the glaciers in the planet's poles, which will produce an increase in sealevels, so people living on the islands would have to find a new place to live.
And the animals, which are related to its ecosystem, their population will dwindle. Other consequenceof the climate changing is that it will rain more in certain places and in others will rain less, and there will be more frequent droughts and it will produce big epidemics.
There aresome hurdles to try to save our planet but, after heard all these big consequences, there’s many things that we can do to stop the climate change, too. Like try to use fewer cars and usethe bus or walk or even your bicycle! Also we can talk to others, for them to do it, because if more people know about what they can do, we can get a better life in this planet.
