Obesity, moreharmful to health than smoking.

Obesity is a major health burden for your pocket and your smoking, this is due to the large amount of secondary diseases to obesity, such as the following, are reaching epidemic proportions:

Diabetes
Hypertension
Osteoarthritis
High Cholesterol
Stroke
and cancer including

 Smoking has been a focus of research and policy interest for many years. However,obesity, which causes more serious disorders to health and quality of life of individuals, has not been of much interest, but until lately.

Secondary diseases to obesity, increase individual health cost by 36% and medication costs by 77%. Smoking involves a more modest increase of 21% in health care costs, and 28% in drug spending, which represents a significant difference.
