A soldier, in its most general sense, is an individual who has enlisted voluntarily or pursuant to compulsory military service in the armed forces of a sovereign country, receiving training andequipment to defend the country and their interests. As a member of such armed forces, becomes a soldier in the army organized. Within the army groupsare divided generally into bodies of soldiers orweapons of different denominations, suchas infantry, marines, artillery, cavalry, etc).
