English Tenses
Simple present tense is used to express routine or habitual activities. When we are using these tense in affirmative form you have to add the “s” to the verb if you are using thethird person subject. In the case of negative and interrogative sentences you have to use auxiliaries “do – does” to First or third person.

Simple Past
Simple Past is used to express actions that happened at adefined moment in the past. When we are using these tense in affirmative form, you have to use the simple past form of the verb. In the case of Negative and Interrogative sentences you have to use theauxiliaries “did – didn’t” (Past form to “do”) to any subject, but using the verb in infinitive form.
