Henry VII… His impact on religion

Introduction

In this document I am going to talk about some important topics, focusing these ideas to Henry VII from England, also I am going to talk about religion on that time, mentioning the Catholicism and Protestantism. The part about Henry VIII I am going to divided into his life story, his impact on society and finally the most important topic his impact on religion.

HISTORY

History is the study of the human past. Scholars who write about history are calledhistorians. It is a field of research which uses a narrative to examine and analyse the sequence of events, and it sometimes attempts to investigate objectively the patterns of cause and effect that determine events. Historians debate the nature of history and its usefulness. This includes discussing the study of the discipline as an end in itself and as a way of providing "perspective" on the problems ofthe present. The stories common to a particular culture, are usually classified as cultural heritage rather than the "disinterested investigation" needed by the discipline of history. Events of the past prior to written record are considered prehistory.

The importance of history

We don’t think that history is important, but I think that when we know more about the past we are better preparefor the present and for the future. Ancient cultures devoted much time and effort to teaching their children family history. It was thought that the past helps a child understand who he is. Modern society, however, has turned its back on the past. We live in a time of rapid change, a time of progress. We prefer to define ourselves in terms of where we are going, not where we come from. Ourancestors hold no importance for us. Man is so much smarter now than he was even ten years ago that anything from the past is outdated and irrelevant to us.

What is a life story?

A life story an account of an amount of series of events making up a person's life.
I think that making a life story is more relevant than a biography because we have a more structure information, so we use this lifestory to know specific details on a person, and we divided into small things that are relevant in our study.

RELIGION

A religion is the conduct indicating a belief in a divine power. The word religion comes from Old French religiōn, and from Latin religionem and is the "respect for what is sacred, reverence for the god" is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of theuniverse, especially when considered as the creation of a supernatural agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
A religion is a group of people that believe in a divine power mostly recognized as “God”, and they have rules for its practice, and also a hierarchy structure according to the rules ofthe practice.

Catholicism

In the lexicon of certain branches of Christianity, especially the Roman Catholic, Anglican, and Orthodox branches, religious as a noun usually refers to a member of a religious order of monks, nuns, friars, clerics regular, or other individuals who take the three vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience (the evangelical counsels). Neither of those groups should beidentified as clergy, which in Catholicism includes bishops, priests and deacons.
For me Catholicism is the most important religion in the world, because is almost in the whole planet, and a lot of people practice it.
I think is also important in this document because Henry VIII was a very religious man, but for the way he used to live he was banished from the catholic system, when he decided...
