History of Canada
The history of Canada covers the period from the arrival of Paleo-Indians thousands of years ago to the present day. Canada has been inhabited for millennia by distinctive groups of Aboriginal peoples, with distinct trade networks, spiritual beliefs, and social hierarchies.
Some of these civilizations had long faded by the time of the first European arrivals and have beendiscovered through archaeological investigations. Various treaties and laws have been enacted between European settlers and the Aboriginal populations.
Canada is a country in North America that borders the United States. Canada touches three oceans: the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and the Arctic Ocean. It is a bilingual country and the languages of the country are English and French.Indigenous people of Canada include the Inuit, Metis, and First Nations. It is estimated that these people settled in Canada over 9,500 years ago.

Later on, the Vikings sailed to Canada and explored the territory. Many years after the Vikings hit Canada, England and France sent out explorers to continue exploring the territory. For a period of time, the area was known as New France, and later on itwas known as Canada under British Imperial Control. Canada has grown since those days and now has a red and white flag with a maple leaf in its center. It currently has three territories and ten provinces.
Beginning in the late 15th century, French and British expeditions explored, and later settled, along the Atlantic coast. France ceded nearly all of its colonies in North America to Britain in1763 after the Seven Years' War. In 1867, with the union of three British North American colonies through Confederation, Canada was formed as a federal dominion of four provinces. This began an accretion of provinces and territories and a process of increasing autonomy from the British Empire, which became official with the Statute of Westminster of 1931 and completed in the Canada Act of 1982,which severed the vestiges of legal dependence on the British parliament.
Over centuries, elements of Aboriginal, French, British and more recent immigrant customs have combined to form a Canadian culture. Canadian culture has also been strongly influenced by that of its linguistic, geographic and economic neighbor, the United States. Since the conclusion of the Second World War, Canadians havesupported multilateralism abroad and socioeconomic development domestically. Canada currently consists of ten provinces and three territories and is governed as a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state.

Religion in Canada
Canada is similar to the United States in that it is a melting pot of different cultures and religions. Canada is acountry without an official religion. Although about seventy-five percent of Canadian citizens claim to be practitioners of Christianity, religious pluralism is a valued part of Canada's culture. Unfortunately, many believe Canada has entered a depressing "post-religious “period. This is a fancy why of saying that people have become
Cynical and stopped openly displaying their Christianity. However, other religions still seem to be en vogue. The stark increase in immigration from areas such as Asia, Africa, and the Middle East has contributed to the expansive growth of Muslim, Buddhist, Sikh, and Hindu communities within the country of Canada. More exclusive religious cultures also call Canada home. These include the Bahá'í Faith, Unitarian
Universalists, Judaism, Pagans, FirstNations religions.

The Musli. Religion is very popular in Canada. The first mosque was built in Edmonton, a fashionable Canadian area, way back in the year 1936. In fact, the first Canadian census found thirteen Muslims already living in the country. With a long history like that, it is no
Wonder that Canada hosts such a large population of Muslim devotees.

Sikhism is another of the more...
