Driving on freeways requires strong nerves. Strong neves is the ability to not be upset or nervous by unpleasant things but in this case it refers to the consequences of driving on freeways. Thequestion here is why the strong nerves are needed, and the answer it includes patient, to be careful and to be alert. First of all, we need to be alert to the cars that are near from us when we are on thefreeway, because with that we will avoid accidents. Second of all, we need to be patient if there’s a lot of traffic, assuming that it’ll cost us much time. Finally, we need to be careful with theother drivers, in other words, with the way they drive. For example, if we a car zigzagging, we would realize that the driver is drunk and also be more careful with him. In conclusion, driving onfreeways will require more things and effort than we thought, because it’s to keep us safely.

A topic sentence contains:
1.A topic
eg. Studying overseas
2. A controlling idea (what you say about the topic)
eg. …was deemed to be very difficult…
The topic is best placed at or near the start of the sentence. Thetopic should not be a pronoun (he, she, his, this, it) as starting with a pronoun often makes the focus of the paragraph unclear.
The controlling idea ‘controls’ everything else in the paragraph; itindicates what you want to say about the topic.
