Language as a faculty exclusively human.
The story shows us language as a form of communication developed only by human beings, contrary to animals; we have a sophisticated, extremely complex anddiverse way to express feelings, ideas and wishes that allows us have a sense of life and death, past , present and future.
Language emerged in line with the development of human being, while humansdiscovered fire, made utensils, and started to be in society also they needed a symbol and sign code that allowed to express their ideas and feelings that started from the use of hands, pictures towords, and in this necessity of daily life human being was creating forms more advanced of living to reach that we are today and differentiating us from animals.
Words came up to name objects or ideas,so when humans started to live in society, they had to create phonemes for naming objects, so the community had in common the sound in relationship with the objects or ideas and at this point in thestory, human already took conscience of the world around, and also the difference between animals and human being started to be evident.
Although it´s clear that animals have a communication systemsince between them there is a social interaction like chimpanzees, whales and bees have shown, but taking in account that instinct is the principal manifestation of that way to communicate. We can foundthat in human being it is very different, the linguistic Sapir defines language in these words: “Language is a purely human and non-instinctive method of communicating ideas, emotions, and desires bymeans of a system of voluntarily produced symbols”, this means that language is not instinctive; on the contrary, it is acquire by contact with others humans.
