Galileo Galilei: was an Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher who played a major role in the Scientific Revolution.

His achievements include improvements to the telescope, a variety of astronomical observations, the first law of motion and decisive support forCopernican’s. It has been regarded as the "father of modern astronomy," the "father of modern physics" 6 and the "father of science."
