GENERAL LAW OF EDUCATION

During the class we were reading and analyzing the General law of Education. While I was reading some articles called my attention, so I typed them below. In my opinion the next articles are really important for our Law, because they talk about many different and important needs ofeducation.

Article 1o. - This Law regulates the education that there give the State - federation, federative entities and municipalities-, his decentralized organisms and the individuals with authorization or with recognition Of official validity of studies. It is of general observance in the whole Republic and the dispositions that It contains sound of public order and social interest. The socialeducational function of the universities and other institutions of education superior to that The fraction recounts the 7th of the article 3o.de the Political Constitution of the United States of Mexico, It will regulate for the laws that apply to the above mentioned institutions.

Article 2o. - Everything individual has right to receive education and, therefore, all the inhabitants of Countrythey have the same opportunities of access to the educational national system, only satisfy Requirements that establish the general applicable dispositions. The education is a fundamental way to acquire, to transmit and to increase the culture; it is a process Permanent that contributes to the development of the individual and to the transformation of the company, and it is a factor Determinantfor the acquisition of knowledge and to form women and men, so that Make sense of social solidarity.

Article 9o. - Beside giving the pre-school education, the primary one and the secondary one, the State It will promote and attend - directly, by means of his decentralized organisms, across supports Financiers, or, for any other way - all the educational types and modalities, included Topeducation, necessary for the development of the Nation, will support the scientific investigation and Technological, and it will encourage the strengthening and the diffusion of the national and universal culture.

In my opinion the articles above are so important in this law, because they tell us about the purpose of the law and the different rights that we have. Example, the second paragraphdescribe the rights that Mexican have to receive education and also says that our country justice rules.

On the other side on this law we can see that the federation is obligated to help students to follow their students’ life.

TÍTULO SEGUNDO

DE LA ESTRUCTURA Y DE LA DIRIGENCIA SINDICAL

CAPÍTULO I

Estructura del Sindicato

Artículo 27. El Sindicato Nacional deTrabajadores de la Educación, como órgano unitario de carácter nacional se estructura, para los efectos legales y de su régimen interno, con representaciones de los trabajadores en los ámbitos siguientes:

I. Escuela;
II. Centro de Trabajo;
III. Delegacional;
IV. Regional;
V. Seccional;
VI. Organizaciones o Asociaciones de trabajadores de la educación afiliados al SindicatoNacional de Trabajadores de la Educación; y
VII. Nacional.

Artículo 28. El conjunto de trabajadores adscritos a un mismo plantel de nivel preescolar, primaria y grupos afines integran la Representación de Escuela y elegirán cada dos años por mayoría y con voto secreto y directo, a un Representante de Escuela. Esta elección será convocada por el Comité Ejecutivo Seccional y presidida por unrepresentante del Comité Ejecutivo Delegacional o Seccional, que deberá expedir la acreditación correspondiente a quien resulte electo.
