ESSAY

Globalization is the increasing of the global relationships of culture, people and economic activity.
Nowadays people caneasily communicate between each other much more quickly than before. Everything is transferring more quickly and the world is evolving very fast.
The process of globalization has beinggoing on for the past five thousand years and it’s still increasing.
The main cause usually discussed in this period is the technological advance because it provides a closerconnected world. One of the causes of globalization is the ability of the international transportation to be so organized. This leads to international trade to move faster and so goodsmovements change destination more frequently. Another cause is that globalization made cheap products and services available.
The effects of globalizations are, for example, thattoo rapid development isn’t so good for the countries and it caused some poverty. It also caused a great migration to the richer countries like the USA. With globalization now peopleare using child labor which is illegal. Another is that not only legal things are subjects of trade but also illegal things such as drugs and other illicit merchandize. Thisphenomenon also brought down the importance of nation states such as the European Union and the G8. There were also effects in the cultural area, for example, we can now eat sushi anywherein the world even though it’s a Japanese food. Music was also influenced as much as the environmental changes such as climate change, pollution and over fishing in the ocean.
Ithink that globalization is both a negative and positive thing.
My conclusion is that without technology none of the things regarding globalization could’ve ever been able to exist.
