Some saysthat the ships and the planes are hijacked by the aliens or some powerful beings who are there under the ocean and they do this so that they can learn the human language and then use it later. Some also say that the Sargasso Sea is the main reason behind all the disappearances. This is the sea which does not have any shores and it is surrounded by the North Atlantic currents. It is full ofseaweeds which are called the 'sargassum' and it is these weeds which entangles themselves around the propeller of the ship, thus, causing an accident and making the ship disappear. Before a ship or a plane disappeared over the Bermuda triangle, the pilots and ship crews used to complain that their compass had stopped working. The explanation is that, the magnetic north or the compass north and the geographic north or the true north, is same in very few places in this world, the Bermudatriangle being one. This is the place where the compass needle points true north. Thus, the compass starts working weirdly as soon as one approaches the Bermuda triangle.
