DIA DE MUERTOS
Una de las celebraciones tradicionales más importantes en México, es la que está dedicada a conmemorar el "Día de Muertos" el 2 de Noviembre. Esta festividad ha llegado a formarparte del patrimonio cultural, la cual entre rezos, cantos, música y baile constituyen una identidad enraizada en la fusión de culturas.
Podríamos mencionar que esta celebración tiene dos grandesinfluencias: por un lado, la influencia preponderantemente cristiana, que a partir del siglo XVI se hace dominante en la cultura mexicana; en segundo lugar, la vertiente prehispánica, que aunque seminimiza por el peso de las estructuras virreinales, sigue vigente hasta nuestros días.
La interpretación de la muerte que hace la cristiandad es fundamentalmente de oración. Esto forma parte de laliturgia cristiana: orar por los muertos. Recordar su memoria tiene mucho que ver con nuestro concepto de la vida y la dependencia, no nacemos de la nada, dependemos de los que nos dieron la vida y de susantepasados y con relación en ellos oramos para que estén con Dios.

One of the most important traditional celebrations in Mexico, is the one that is dedicated to commemorating the" Day of Dead men " On November 2. This festivity has managed to form a part of the cultural heritage, which between prayers, singings, music and dance constitute an identity taken root in the mergerof cultures.
We might mention that this celebration has two big influences: on the one hand, the preponderantly Christian influence, which from the 16th century becomes dominant in the Mexicanculture; secondly, the pre-Hispanic slope, which though it is minimized by the weight of the viceregal structures, is still in force to the present day.
