Anti-terrorism Laws In Canada Apply To Immigrants.

Canada began to tighten its immigration and asylum policies in the past decade, particularly from the attack of 11 September 2001in New York. Recent administrations have implemented measures to standardize the rules of entry for immigrants and refugees with the "antiterrorist" laws of the United States.

The idea of "borderssealed" around the perimeter of North America, including the Alliance for Security and Prosperity, mainly hits most vulnerable link in the migration chain: those who leave their land because theirintegrity and life at risk, contingent on which Mexicans are the majority.
The most frequent complaints of Mexicans for mistreating asylum seekers relate to the conditions they are subjected. Thedecline in asylum in this country is manifested in various forms and has mobilized humanitarian organizations.

The judges of the Immigration and Refugee Board typically argue in their decisions toreject asylum claims that Mexico is a country where the government "make efforts" to combat corruption and improve law enforcement system where there are roads to which the victims of violence can turnfor protection, as the area of human rights of the Attorney General's Office (PGR), the National Commission on Human Rights or the state commissions, and where citizens can go and appeal court decisionswith which they disagree.

For this they have developed a framework document in 2007, following a research mission of the IRB who traveled to Mexico in late 2006. The Canadian mission'sinterlocutors were from the U.S. Embassy, the National Institute of Penal Sciences, the Ministry of Public Administration, the Undersecretary for Special Investigation into Organized Crime (SIEDO) of the FederalInvestigation Agency and Attorney of Human Rights, Victim Care and Community Services of the PGR.
